Volunteer Gift Officer – Elmjack Little League

Position Overview:

Elmjack Little League is seeking a passionate and dedicated Volunteer Gift Officer to support our fundraising efforts and help secure donations to sustain and grow our programs. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, a love for youth sports, and a desire to make a positive impact in the community. The Volunteer Gift Officer will assist in donor outreach, sponsorship cultivation, and fundraising campaigns to ensure Elmjack Little League can continue providing a safe, fun, and enriching baseball experience for local children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in identifying and cultivating potential donors, sponsors, and community partners.
• Help draft and send fundraising appeals, thank-you letters, and sponsorship proposals.
• Support donor stewardship by maintaining records and acknowledging contributions.
• Participate in fundraising events, campaigns, and community outreach efforts.
• Collaborate with the board and fundraising team to meet annual fundraising goals.
• Represent Elmjack Little League positively in the community.

  Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Passion for youth sports and community engagement.
• Previous experience in fundraising, sales, or nonprofit work is a plus but not required.
• Organized, reliable, and able to work independently.
• Willingness to connect with local businesses and individuals to secure support.

• Flexible, primarily remote with occasional in-person meetings or events
