JP had been a fixture at Elmjack for 25 years. He started as a manager for his son Chris's Pee Wee team and continued managing through Babe Ruth. JP then started the over 19 league and managed a team for many years. JP umpired in the Pee Wee division and was a Director for the Pee Wee and Bantam divisions as well. Most of all, JP was better known for "JPs Café". On Saturdays, JP could be found barbecuing in front of JP's Café. His passion was cooking and baseball, but his real love was his family. His wife Kathy, son Chris, daughter-in-law Megan and his canine pal, AJ were his world.
We at Elmjack have lost a wonderful person, terrific friend and a member of our extended family.
